Being life long pet owners, we understand what it means to leave your beloved pet behind when you have to be away from home. You worry about them. You worry if they are getting the same level of care you give them. Lets face it, they are part of the family!

We believe that pets are always much more comfortable in their normal surroundings. They love being around their home, their normal smells, their bed and their food at their normal times. This is where a pet sitter can help keep things as normal as possible for your pets.

We offer full service pet sitting concierge services. We provide one visit per day or multiple visits per day to vacation sittings. We visit your pet in their home on their schedule. We give them one on one loving and care. We feed your pets, clean up after them and give them the personal touches they enjoy. We also help ease your worry and help you relax knowing that your pet is being well cared for. You can have peace of mind knowing that we are caring for your pet as well as ensuring your home is locked up, turning lights on and off and watering your plants.

Legends Pet Sitting Services is licensed, insured and bonded. We are pet first aid certified. We are a member of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters.

We are here to serve you and your pet by providing first class service. You and your pet is our primary purpose.

George Lockwood- Founder and Owner

After serving in the U.S. Navy, George spent his career in consumer and mortgage lending and eventually worked in the Credit Union industry. During his tenure, he worked every facet of Credit Unions from deposits, loans, HR and training, IT, investments and management and in 2005 was named the President and CEO of a Credit Union in Charleston, SC. “While we were on vacation, we had a pet sitter take care of our dog. I called on the first day to check that all was good only to find out that ‘they forgot to come!’ Right then I knew what I wanted to do and that I could give outstanding service.

Dedicated to my passion and adoration for animal care, I became a professional Pet Care Provider. Ever since, I have been providing loyal and loving pet care and services to the Summerville area and beyond.

We pride ourselves on our patience, kindness and competence — and our clients would agree. It’s why so many of them use our services on a regular basis. Remember, no job is too big or too small for us to handle, so please get in touch. We can’t wait to start looking after your precious pet."

Kerry

Hi! I’m Kerry and I just retired after 33 years of teaching high school studies. I ended my career at Ashley Ridge High School. I have had at least one dog most of my life and currently have 2 Westies. They are my kids as much as my son and daughter are. I’m looking forward to taking care of your fur babies!

Amy

I have wanted to work with animals since I was in kindergarten. I got my pet care start at 17 as a volunteer with the Dorchester County SPCA (aka Dorchester Paws) and was later hired as an employee. To expand my pet care experience, I moved to a grooming and boarding facility and stayed there until I entered grooming school, in 1999. After finishing grooming school, I worked as a groomer, then as a groomer/owner/operator for the last 23 years.
